De 22 a 25 de agosto o Acadêmico Candido Mendes de Almeida proferirá palestra no Centre of Heaven and Earth (Songshan) Forum on Chinese and World Civilizations, “Multiple Modernities and the Unity of Heaven and Humanity”, sobre o tema Cultural Diversity on the Brink of the New Axial Age, organizado pelo Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies / Universidade de Pequim. De 29 a 30 de agosto participará do 6th Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations. Será um dos painelistas da sessão plenária intitulada “Unity in Diversity: Celebrating Diversity for Common and Shared Values”. Organizador: Aliança das Civilizações/Nações Unidas.
